Graft does not collect any data. It has no account system, no server, and no networking code. Everything you enter stays on your device.
Graft stores the workouts and sessions you build, the record of workouts you complete, the exercises and formats in your library, and — if you use a heart rate strap — the heart rate samples recorded during a session. All of it is written to the app's own private storage on your device, in the app container that iOS assigns to Graft.
This data is not transmitted anywhere. It is not backed up to any service operated by us, because no such service exists. If you have iCloud Backup or encrypted device backups enabled, your device may include Graft's data in those backups; that is handled entirely by Apple under Apple's terms, and we have no access to it.
Graft asks for Bluetooth permission for one purpose: connecting to a standard Bluetooth Low Energy heart rate monitor so it can display your heart rate while you train. The app reads the heart rate measurement your strap broadcasts and stores it with that workout's record on your device.
Bluetooth is entirely optional. Every other feature of the app works without it, and if you decline the permission the app runs normally and shows no heart rate.
Graft does not integrate with Apple Health. It does not read from or write to HealthKit, and it has no access to any health data held elsewhere on your device. The heart rate it displays comes directly from the strap you pair with it.
Graft is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Rights such as access, correction, deletion and portability exist to give you control over data a company holds about you. We hold none. Your data is on your device and under your control: you can edit or delete any workout or session inside the app, and deleting the app removes all of its data from your device permanently.
If a future version of Graft ever collects or transmits data — for example if optional multi-device sync is added — this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be described plainly rather than buried. The date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed.
