Terms of Use

Last updated: 2 August 2026

These terms govern your use of the Graft iOS application. By downloading or using Graft, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Health and safety

Graft is a tool for recording and timing training you have chosen to do. It is not a coach, and it is not a medical device.

It does not assess your fitness, judge whether a workout is appropriate for you, or monitor your health. Nothing in the app — including the built-in example workouts, the exercise library, and any heart rate it displays — is medical advice or a training prescription.

Exercise carries risk of injury. Consult a qualified professional before starting or changing a training programme, particularly if you have any medical condition, are pregnant, are recovering from injury, or have not trained recently. Stop immediately if you feel unwell and seek medical attention.

Heart rate readings come from third-party Bluetooth hardware and may be inaccurate, delayed, or absent. Do not rely on them for any health or safety decision.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Graft on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, redistribute, rent, lease, or sell the app, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

Your content

The workouts, exercises, formats and records you create in Graft are yours. They are stored on your device, and we have no access to them. You are responsible for your own data, including keeping backups. See the Privacy Policy.

Data loss

Because Graft stores everything locally, deleting the app, losing your device, or a device failure will result in the permanent loss of your Graft data unless it is covered by a device backup you have arranged. We cannot recover it for you.

No warranty

Graft is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your requirements, and we do not warrant the accuracy of any timing, measurement or record it produces.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use Graft — including any injury sustained while training. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Third parties

Graft is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to HYROX, CrossFit, Inc., or any manufacturer of heart rate hardware. Those names are used only to describe the kind of training the app supports and the hardware it works with.

Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The date at the top of this page tells you when they last changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights, and you may be entitled to bring proceedings in the country where you live under the mandatory consumer protections that apply there.
